Six weeks after ArQule Inc. (Nasdaq: ARQL) abandoned Phase 3 trials for its lead drug candidate, tivantinib, for lung cancer, it said Tuesday that it’s struck an agreement for another Phase 3 trial, this time for liver cancer. The Woburn company’s stock was up 6 percent to $2.80 as of 1:15 p.m. on Tuesday’s news, after collapsing to $2.21 - within 20 cents of its 52-week low - following the Oct. 2 news that it was halting the Phase 3 trial.
